Is it just me or are Airfix's offerings shrinking?

Just surfing round the Internet and passing by:

https://www.airfix.com

They don't seem to be doing much in the way of Vehicle or Naval kits anymore?

:(
Even the Airfix Battles game system does not seem to have progressed from the first offering. There was a promise of a Collector's Edition expanding teh original theme but this seems to have stalled:

  1. Hornby and Airfix have money troubles. Hence I guess the shrinking range. It's a shame for these iconic companies, but I guess it's the age of instant gratification for youngsters. The do not want to build kits or play with trains. Rather stifle their imagination with a computer game.

  4. According to my local stockistys the kits have gone for good. Very sad really. Best buy them when you see them.

    Cheers,

    Pete.

  5. Rumours started up (again) back in Jan that production of all 1/76 vehicle kits and figures may be wound up. Sub-rumour that just the handful of newer 1/72 vehicles (Jeep, KingTiger, Cromwell, etc) would continue in production.

    Cheers, Dave
