UK Connections 2017 has come and gone. It looked to be a brilliant one judging by the blog posts and write ups:
Interestingly they made the BBC News:

I am looking forward to the post-conference lecture slides and audio to be uploaded to their site:

Of interest already is their Introduction to Wargaming download (if you do not know who was Von Rieswitz was then take a sneak peek at slide 5 and find out):

Sadly one of those events I would have loved to have gone to but logistics and time away from the family forbade it :(
Yes, I keep meaning to get to this as well but early September is prime holiday time for me.
ReplyDeleteI agree, last year was a great treat for me that fell nicely in with my circumstances (I was transitioning between jobs and it sat as a "use up my leave" operation and it was a nice birthday present for me)
ReplyDeleteI cannot say that I could justify going every year but it did get me get a feel for the "other side of the hill" which was illuminating in so many ways
Methinks you would already know half the organisers from CoW and they would be mad not to rope you in like they do with Bob on the first day MegaGame
I am looking forward for the slides and audio ;)
