I would just like to say for the record .. I don't like cricket .. I LOVE IT!

Let actions speak for themselves .. I bet any Aussie who dared rib a Kiwi over the World Cup ODI Final is in hiding for the time being. There was some seriously incredible cricket in that game on both sides, respect. I was also impressed by Warner's reaction in defeat. The Fourth Test is going to be immense!

    Geordie,

    I've seen several comments that asked what all the fuss was about. They were usually accompanied by the usual 'cricket is boring' diatribe.

    I thought that the recent World Cup win proved that this was totally wrong ... and then along comes Stokes (along with Leach and others) to show that cricket can be an exciting all day contest.

    Totally agree

    It also whets the appetite for the Fourth Test
    I literally thought I would never see Cricket Games like these that rival and surpass Headingly in 1981

    I think there is a misguided attempt to make Cricket a variant of Baseball .. Test Matches are exactly that (the ultimate) Test of Cricket IMHO
