Climate Change - World on Course for Dangerous Levels
Anyone could have predicted it. Unregulated capitalism is incapable of dealing with external costs (pollution, congestion etc) or external benefits, so yes, humans are quite capable of destroying the environment they live in.
As I've got older, I've got more relaxed about it. In geological terms, we are a flash in the pan, although I feel sad for my kids.
