Big "Near" - Small "Far Away"

To honour a genius of British TV comedy, the sit-com Father Ted, I present wargaming terrain in perspective (see below, "near" is Big, whereas far away is "small" - but it is really the same thing): 


Or to the more wargame informed 15-20mm and 6-10mm, don't get them mixed up in the boxes or you will have a very funny looking game!

  1. A millennium ago, when still in school, I set up a tabletop battle for my D&D group using all sorts of figures I had.

    I used a couple stands of Micro-Armor (6mm) infantry to be pixies/sprites (something small).

    The players ignored them because they thought the small size meant they were really far away.
