Another interesting company: The Plastic Soldier Company
More plastic model voyeurism
As recommended from the ww2modelzone blog
Great looking figures Geordie and really does make sense to do them in hard plastic. just wondeing what i will do with all my 'paint flaking' soft plastic ones now!!
I spoke to the chap behind the company plastic soldier at the York show.It appears that he was in two minds over whether to produce them in 20mm or 28mm .I have to say i,m pleased he has opted for 20mm as i,m sure there will be more interest.
I agree, two scale brackets in WWII make sense to me:
20mm (Skirmish/Squad up to company level- CrossFire) and stretched to infantry dominated Command Decision/Spearhead games as long as the tanks don't get too close together
Visually more appealing for battalion+ games (1/300, 1/285, 1/200, 6mm)
As a model maker I prefer to collect and make the 20mm stuff, for wargames projects I go for the 1/200

These look bloody good, Geordie!
Yes, my eye keeps coming back to them time and time again!
The Royal Navy shore party has quirky appeal to me too!
These could be the 'Holy Grail' - hard plastic 'proper' 1/72nd figures - nice one.
