The Long American: M40 155mm Artillery Piece

When you see one you don't have, don't you get that "must have" craving? I never had the M40 Matchbox (now released by Revell) as a kid, but I do in my second childhood :)

Taking the antiquated M12 155mm mounting from a deprecated M3 chassis onto the latest Sherman M4 sprung version, it had a few pokes a Cologne but saw more action in Korea. Something nice to call in (if you can) on your radio net.

Yes, more painting to do, all backed up on the tray ;)

I suppose this is as strange as the Sherman Calliope to have on table (see Paul's previous comment)

You need a big table to field these puppies, and I think they would have a awesome Anti tank rating...hey its great being able to comment without my internet timing out!

Whatever you have done seems to have worked...nice one.

I just cut back on showing the details of the blogs I read

No longer is it trying to load 300+ small pictures in teh background :)

Glad it worked

Yep I am back, but my heart is still in the UK (Godbless it).

I did notice that the homeland seemed to be a whole lot cleaner than when I was last there 10 yrs back. Well done for that!

It's got HVSS rather than VVSS! I may have to get one or two to fancy up my Fireflies.
