Corona Virus Project 2c: USN DDs - Completed, Remembering when ...

This seemed such a long time ago now (see below, early war USN destroyers for the Coral Sea, Guadalcanal and Midway operations):

I sense a need to return and start the Japanese opponents!

Geordie,

Thirty-four destroyers! Painting and basing them is quite some feat, and once you have your Japanese ships done as well, you will be able to mount some very large fleet actions.

All the best,

Bob

No problem James and I have plenty more to work on ;)

Cheers Bob, nothing wrong your recon skills correctly reporting the number and type back to Yamamoto - the IJN could have well used used skills in a recon plane at Midway ;)

I have so much "ship lead" and enjoy them so much but relatively have played but few naval games. Always the bridesmaid but never the bribe. GQ1/2 were my default rule-set but I have David Manley's rule sets and I have high hopes far them being quick play with my "land-based" wargaming friends. His Russo Jap rules worked really well I have to say!
