Is it just me ... but a useful thing about Xmas is ...
The availability of "goodly proportioned" biscuit tins (see below):
This one is just tall enough for 28mm cavalry provided their lances are not raised or halberd wielding infantrymen.
I've started using tins to store some of my figures in. Helps that my guys have magnetic bases which stops heart attacks when people pick up the tin and shake it for some reason. It's not as if biscuits ain't fragile. What do they want? Crumbs?
Only problem is that every tin seems to different in dimensions and that makes stacking a challenge.

A large sign that says "No Biscuits"? Yes they do collapse if stacked together :(
But at least all the pieces are still in the box ;)
