Back to a British Infantry theme

The latest welcome purchase/addition:

This comes on the back of enjoying the GI's so much (I forgive the "largeness" compared to other 1/76 and 1/72 manufacturers) and thinking they will not be out of place next to (next battalion along) my Platoon 20 WWII late-war British Infantry.

From first impressions out of the box I am very impressed and they are spurring me on to finish the British WWII Platoon project and spill over the paint to these plastics.

They are nice figures mate, I really enjoyed painting these.

Nice I can post comments without any problems while here in the UK. Must be a NZ problem.

I painted up some freebie GIs and thought they were great quality - only the scale issue and lack of compatible vehicles caused me not to buy anymore; may do in the future though...

The large 1/72 scale gives me a momentary pause for thought but the beauty of the moulds seduces me :)

I plan to pick up the German Packs in due time.

Trouble is there lots of nice plastics on the market just now, almost too many to paint. Ceasar is another favourite and HaT just keep pushing out interesting packs :)

Hope you are having a good time in the UK Paul. Are your bags full of plastic treasures?
