Bots - Are we back to normal "hit levels" again?
Last post was only 56 hits after the first 24 hours. Which I think are probably real people! Compared to the thousands previous .. what has changed? Ask the Bots!
Totally agree Bob! Thanks for your independent confirmation Neil. I wonder if they stopped because they were noticed, or "got enough" of whatever they were after? Odd thing is that it reminds you of a salient fact. After you post something on the Internet - you do not control its use and/or life cycle.
Mine are down to more normal (ish) for the last 2 days. Last month was about 20 times the average hits per day, now down to about 2 times average. So it seems hits could now be only the regular bots, rather than the AI bots as well :-)
I thought the same....mentioned it at a game today actually! I don't think they would stop because anyone noticed....more likely they know everything now!
From various comments on other blogs I think it has returned to 'normal'. Presumably all the required content has been assimilated by the Borg and it will go off to new pastures. Maybe harvest the whole of Tiktok? Back when I was involved in University research computing, one of the research teams harvested the entire content of twitter for language analysis. Oh how we marvelled. It was a very, very long time ago in the chnology germs...

My last post on my blog seems to have returned to normal levels
Geordie.
It's great to get back to something approaching normal!
All the best,
Bob
