As I was walking through "The Works" today ...
It began as a mission to get a "ship" that has Colonial gunboat potential (see below, blame Bob Cordery):
Then I discovered a rather nice "dice" find (see below):
This will allow multiple "customised" dice to be constructed.
And you thought Politics (just ask Boris and Jez) was unforgiving ;) I bought a packet but as I was walking away thought it's £12 for some SAGA dice (8) so I about faced and bought another three packets ;)
I am reminded of a time, when I was a lad, when you could buy Easter eggs in this country that came mounted on a plastic 'cartoon' stern wheeler steam boat not unlike the vessel pictured in your blog. I think my parent bought enough to make a reasonable-sized flotilla. I rather regretted that I didn't foresee a time, thirty to fifty years futureward, when they might have been useful...

Geordie,
So I get the blame for making your go to 'The Works' but none of the glory because you found something you would not have otherwise seen! ;^)
Seriously, those are a great find, and I will look out for them myself when I next visit a branch of 'The Works'.
All the best,
Bob

Happy shopping!
