John's (aka Jacksarge's) brushwork is very inspiring. I think I actually inherited the remnants of that particular box of Airfix Late War British from him. In spite of his brilliant paintjob they are, I think, rather disappointing figures that show Airfix have not really moved all that far on from say their previous WWII British infantry in terms of the overall sculpts, spindly anatomy, etc; interesting in the light of recent comments here about the possible demise of Airfix - could be some clues there!

Cheers, Dave
